Emma Gillespie

Psychologist

M/A Psychology (HONS), grad dip. Psychological Practice, Master of Clinical Psychology - Advanced Entry, University of Southern Queensland

Hi! I’m Emma, I am passionate about helping others and have volunteered in orphanages and primary schools across Africa, India and Sri Lanka, prior to my career as a psychologist. My experience includes working with people from various cultural backgrounds, socio-economic groups, and across all ages. I work in an empathetic, supportive, warm and open manner and our sessions will be guided by you. I aspire to create a safe space to explore your concerns and hope to equip you with strategies to achieve your goals and overcome challenges. I am a proud LGBTIQ+ ally and work with a broad range of challenges including survivors of family violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting and stress management amongst others. By using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, I hope to empower individuals to strive toward healing, change, and personal growth.
